As the new headteacher I am delighted to welcome you to our friendly and nurturing school, where every child is seen as being unique and has a special contribution to make to our school family.
‘Learn Grow and Achieve Together’
Our vision for our school is to offer an environment where all children feel safe and secure and they are excited by their learning. Our aim is for children to ‘learn, grow and achieve’ in all aspects of their lives, through the development of a broad and engaging curriculum where learning is purposeful, creative and fun. Through our high standards and expectations and in partnership with parents and carers we want our children to fulfil all they are capable of achieving.
Eastergate CE Primary School is a voluntary controlled Church of England School and we have close links with our local church, St George’s as well as the village and wider community. Our Christian and British values are at the heart of our Collective Worship and underpin the work of the school. As a result we believe children will leave our school as well rounded individuals who learn to respect themselves and others and who will have a continuing thirst for knowledge and learning.
We were inspected by Ofsted earlier in the term and we have been graded a 'good' school. Please click here to read our latest report.
We look forward to welcoming you and your children to our school.
